Pouncer was a loving, wonderful cat. She went through a lot in her life. She was picked up off the streets as a kitten by the Humane Society in Newark after she had been severely beaten by teenagers. Then she remained in the shelter for months. Pouncer picked her mommy out from the crowd of people looking at cats in the shelter by grabbing her shirt as she walked past her cage. It was love at first sight. From that moment on, she was spoiled rotten by her mommy. Pouncer is fondly remembered, and dearly missed.

Pouncer suffered a stroke in the late evening of January 11, 2016. She was rushed to the emergency veterinarian, but there was nothing that could be done. She was peacefully released from her suffering at 2AM, January 12, 2016.
