Marilyn P. Krause, 86, of Winnebago, NE passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Heritage of Emerson Care Center in Emerson, NE following a lengthy illness. Abiding by her wishes, cremation has taken place.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE with Rev. Gretchen Ritola officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M., with the family present at 6:00 P.M. and a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the funeral home.
Marilyn was born on August 12, 1929 in Sibley, IA, the daughter of Dale and Lucille (Landam) Moody. She moved to Sioux City in the early 50's and worked for Warren Radio. Marilyn married Rodney Krause in 1956 and the couple farmed.
Marilyn loved cats and music. She will be missed by family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Rodney Krause; a son, David Krause; two grandsons, Matt and Jason; two nieces, Marie and Susie; and a nephew, Daniel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Lucille Moody; a son, Terry; granddaughter, Rianda; and a sister, Barbara Nuss.
