She was born Aug. 30, 1936, in Rogers, daughter of Edgar and Orpha Grubb Baker.
She had lived in Columbiana since 1976 coming from East Lewistown.
She had been a home improvement coordinator for Sears Roebuck for 22 years.
She was a member of the Rogers Methodist Church and the Sweet Adeline's of Youngstown.
She is survived by her husband, Loyal "Ed"Hoffman whom she married Sept. 25, 1955; a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Debra) Smith of Salem; a son, Jon A. Hoffman of Columbiana; a sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Jane) Crane of Leetonia; a brother, John Baker of Columbiana; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home with Rev. Mark D. Vincent of New Waterford United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbiana Cemetery.
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
