Aubrey "Chuck" Booker was the son of Charles Arthur Booker. Charles was married to Blanche Belle Dukes Booker.

Services for Aubrey "Chuck" Booker, Idabel, are scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday in the Coffey-Ruiz Chapel with Rev. Dayne Freeman officiating.

Booker died Monday night in a motorcycle-car accident on the old Broken Bow-Idabel highway county road .3 miles north of Idabel. He was DOA at McCurtain Memotial Hospital.

Born Jan. 15, 1920 in the Hall community in Antlers, Booker had lived in Idabel since 1973 and was a hotel owner and operator here.

Surviving are three brothers, Bill Booker of Antlers, Jerry Booker of Addison, Ill., and Arlan Booker of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Beatrice Ryan of Wyoming, Mich. and Jeanne Diamond of Tuscon, Ariz.

Following local services, the body will be transported to Dallas for crematory services.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Coffey-Ruiz Funeral Home.
