Michael Jerome Schmidt

Michael Jerome, three month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Schmidt, died Tuesday night at University Hospital, Madison, where he had been a week.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Berge Funeral Home, Valders and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. The Rev. Henry Arens will officiate at the Mass of Angels and burial will be in the church cemetery.
The infant was born March 5 at Memorial Hospital. His mother is the former Dolores Hammel.
Surviving in addition to the parents are three sisters, Shirley, Rose Mary and Patricia and three brothers, Charles, Richard and Robert of Valders; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hammel of Rt. 1, Manitowoc and paternal grandfather, Louis Schmidt of Valders.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 o’clock this Thursday evening where the rosary will be recited at 8 o’clock.
