Graveside services for John A. Douglas, 71, a native of Eugene, Ore., will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Sierra View Memorial park. He died yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness.
Douglas came to this area 15 years ago from Lewiston, Idaho, where he had operated a furniture and hardware business. While here he resided in the National hotel.
Surviving are two sons [with former wife Laura Ellen (Watts) Douglas], Franklin Douglas of the Linda district and Ernest Douglas of Sacramento; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
