Neil D. Haney--Admire--Neil D. Haney, 83, Admire, died Thrusday at an Emporia hospital.
He was born Dec. 27, 1898, at Nichols, Iowa, the son of David N. and Martha J. Bosley Haney.
Mr. Haney was a salesman. He retired from Jayhawk Equipment Co., Topeka, in 1969.
He was a member of Perry Christian Church.
He married Gladys G. Goldsmith Oct. 29, 1930, at Hays. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Priscilla J. Smith, Wichita; a son, David K. Haney, Topeka; a sister, Mrs. Vera Shaw, Milan, Mo.; two brothers, Lynn Haney and Kenneth Haney, both of Moline, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a. m. Saturday at Admire United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Admire Cemetery. The casket will be open at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia, and closed at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Manhattan Christian College or St. Mary's Hospital building fund at Emporia in care of the funeral home.
