Semrad died Wednesday at a local hospital. She was born in Oklahoma Territory near Yukon on Jan. 9, 1896, to Frank and Antonia Dolista Parizek. She attended a rural school near Yukon.
She married Anton J. Semrad in Yukon April 20, 1920. They farmed near Bison, and moved to a farm south of Enid in 1938. They moved to Enid in 1961.
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church and the church Altar Society. She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, a brother, four sisters, and her husband.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Handley, Enid; Mrs. A. S. (Lillian) Handley, Waukomis, and Alice Semrad, Milwaukee, Wisc; three sons, Raymond, Burnsville, Minn, Lawrence, Richardson, Texas, and Gene, Enid; 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Enid Opportunity School or Center of Family Love in Okarche through the funeral home.
