Obituary from the Salina Journal, October 31, 1982--Mrs. James Parks--Hoisington--The graveside service for Mrs. Elnora M. Parks, 80, Hoisington, will be at 1:30 PM Monday at Hoisington Cemetery, the Rev. Clarence Zimmerman officiating.
Mrs. Parks died Saturday at the Hoisington Hospital. She was born Dec. 16, 1901, in Osage City. She was a member of the Hoisington First Christian Church.
Surviving are five sons, E. W. "Pat" and Marvin L., both of Hoisington; J. Leonard, Ellsworth; C. Robert, Topeka; and Kenneth W., Montezuma; two daughters, Mrs. Henrietta Holmes, Larned; and Mrs Louise Woods, Ulysses; a brother, Richard Goldsmith, Newton; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Haney and Mrs. Betty Miller, both of Admire, and Mrs. Irene Moore, Emporia; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 1 to 9 PM Sunday at the Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington.
