SHERWOOD - Funeral services for Eva Collins Sherwood, 84, who passed away, Tuesday, January 18, 2000, will be held at 10 AM, Friday, January 21, 2000 from the graveside in Evergreen Cemetery (Gate #1) with Rev. Gene Maddox, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 PM till 8 PM Thursday (today) at George H. Hewell and Son Northside Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street. Born November 26, 1915 in Sanford, FL she has been a resident of Jacksonville for most of her life. She was of the Methodist faith and owned and directed Humpty Dumpty Kindergarten for over 50 years. Mrs. Sherwood is predeceased by her husband of 67 years, the late Luell D. Sherwood. She is survived by her son, Buddy Sherwood (Ann); a brother, Harold Collins (Claudia); 3 grandchildren, Kenny Sherwood, Luann Fair and Terri Vaughn; 6 great-grandchildren, Kyle and Katie Sherwood, Lauren Searcy, Alie and Lance Fair and Farrin Hayes; and a brother-in-law, Ralph P. Engle
