Philip S. Anderson
Philip S. Anderson, 69, died Tuesday, May 28, 1935, at the home of Lester Counsil, Flemington, as the result of an illness following a stroke two years ago. He had been confined to his bed for two weeks.
Funeral services were held at the Lauer Mortuary with the Reverend Howard G. Young officiating. Burial was made in the Sand Hill Cemetery, near Howard.
Mr. Anderson was born in Centre County and for many years engaged in coal mining in that section. He came to Flemington less than a year ago. His only survivor was a half brother, George, of Allison Township.
