"MRS. RACHEL HOGE
Death of Well Known Lady
Yesterday morning at 6:30 o'clock Mrs. Rachel Hoge, widow of the late Isaac Hoge, died at the family mansion No. 64 Thirteenth street, at the advanced age of eighty two years. Although the lady had been in delicate health for some time, her death was a sad shock to the family, as well as to a large circle of friends and acquaintances, by whom she was dearly beloved and respected. The family came here from Moundsville many years ago, and some years later Mr. Hoge passed away, leaving his wife and a family of several children to mourn his loss, among whom are Messrs William V., Frank, Dr. Eugene, and Lucius Hoge. Mrs. Hoge's funeral will take place from her late residence Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment private."
