Joseph and Ellen had been married 17 years, having 9 children, 9 living. He was a farmer.

Miss Mae Mattox

CYNTHIANA, Jan. 23 - Miss Mae Mattox, 57, died at 3:15 a.m. today at Harrison Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

She was a member of the Indian Creek Christian Church.

She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. John Thompson, Cynthiana Route 4; Mrs. Elda Wagoner, Georgetown, and Miss Jane Mattox, Cynthiana, and two brothers, Henry Mattox, Cynthiana Route 2 and Rueben Mattox, Cynthiana Route 4.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Indian Creek Christian Church by the Rev. William Twaddell. Burial will be in the Indian Creek Cemetery.

The body is at the Smith-Rees Funeral Home.
