Robert W. Jack, 81, of Keosauqua, died at Van Buren County Hospital.

He was born to Ren and Wynona Davis Jack. On July 15, 1945, he married Frances Wallace in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

He graduated from Keosauqua High School, served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during World War II and was an Iowa Conservation Officer, retiring in 1982. The Jacks lived 35 years in DeWitt and moved to Keosauqua in July, 2000.

He was a member of Keosauqua United Methodist Church, Bellevue Masonic Lodge, Davenport Consistory, Kaaba Shrine, Davenport and Beer-Barker Post No. 113, American Legion, Keosauqua.

Survivors include his wife; son, Jeffrey of Keosauqua; sisters Shirley DeHart and Barbara Hamberg of Keosauqua; and brother, David of Vale.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Roberta Jeanne Jack.

A memorial service was held at Keosauqua United Methodist Church, Rev. Byron Wixom officiating. Burial with military rites by Beer-Barker Post followed.
