Martha N. Allen
Mrs. Martha N. Allen, 26, wife of C. E. Allen, 1302 North Market, died Wednesday in a local hospital following a short illness.
Mrs. Allen was born near Little Rock, Ark., March 23, 1922, and came to Wichita 14 years ago. She was married to Mr. Allen in Newkirk, Okla., June 19, 1940.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving, besides her husband, are one daughter, Sharon Lee; her mother, Mrs. A. N. Johnson, 1302 North Market,; a step-daughter, Billie Jean Williams, Dixie Heights, Ky., and a step-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held in the Cochran mortuary at 3:30 p.m., Friday with Rev. Lawrence W. Life officiating. Burial will be in Wichita Park cemetery.
