Mrs. Amanda Case Crooks, daughter of the late Jerome I. Case, who was one of the founders of the present J.I. Case Company, died Thursday at St. Helena, CA.
Mrs. Crooks was the widow of Jonathan J. Crooks of San Rafael, CA, where she has lived since leaving Racine many years ago, and was a sister of Jackson I. Case, who served as mayor of the city of Racine from 1891 to 1895/
Prominent in social circles here before going west to live, Mrs. Crooks was a life member of the Racine chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors are 4 nieces, and 4 nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday in San Rafael, CA. Burial will also take place there.
