At the time of her death, Harriet was a member of White Church, also known as the Wattensas (Wattensaw) Presbyterian Church, which was the first church established in Prairie County. A transcript of the church's records at the public library in Des Arc, AR, contains many references to the family.
After her death, her husband married Harriet's younger sister, Amelia, who had come with them from North Carolina and had lived with them. Amelia would have 5 more children with Daniel.
