Lillian was called to her eternal rest on Saturday afternoon, February 21, 2015 at Bethany Home in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Visitation and a time of sharing memories with the Adamson Family will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, at the church. Lillian was a member of the Trimont Garden Club, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Christian Women's Group, she was a Girl Scout Leader, and a volunteer in the FCH gift shop as a FCH Auxiliary member, and had leadership roles in fundraising for charities. Lillian enjoyed traveling-several three three-generation van trips across the US, making yearly visits to CA to visit family, cruises, trips to Hawaii and nearly every state in the Continental US. Throughout her life Lillian attended the Evangelical Covenant Church in Trimont, the Missionary Alliance Church in CA, and the Baptist and Grace Lutheran Churches in Fairmont.
Left to cherish memories from Lillian's 95 years are her daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Dick Schulz of Sioux Falls, SD; granddaughter, Jamie (Schulz) and husband, Nate DeJong, great-grandchildren, Jayda and Cody DeJong, all of Clatonia, NE; grandson, Eric Schulz (Vanessa Prasnicki) of Sioux Falls, SD; former brother-in-law, Bob Adamson of Sublimity,OR; nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families, and childhood friends of both Sandy and Jim who also called her "Mom".
Lillian was predeceased by her parents, William and Jennie; son, Jim in 1976; sisters, Edith, Bertha (Walter Benson), Freda (Jack Parker), brothers, Carl, Edwin, Alfred (Lillian), Wilbert (his former wife, Jean); former husband, Paul, and his family including Les & Rosie Forstrom, Ruth Forstrom, Helen Adamson; and many extended family members.
