Marion – Czarina E. Brown, 92, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at 5:00 P.M. at Heartland Regional Medical Center.

Czarina was born August 9, 1913 to William & Dolly (Choisser) Alvis in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She married John T. Brown in 1930 in Eldorado and together they shared over 55 years of marriage until his death on September 5, 1985.

Czarina was a homemaker, a member of 2nd Baptist Church in Marion where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was a National Irish Judge and she helped to found the Mari-Egu Summer Day Camp for Disabled People. An accomplishment that Czarina was proudest of was that she participated in the JF Kennedy 1st Annual Conference for educating children with Down Syndrome.

Grandson – John Edward Turner and wife Debbie of Yuma, AZ
Great Grandchildren:

Preceded by: Parents, Husband, Daughter – Henrietta Turner and Son – Chan William Brown.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 31, 2005 at 3:30 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Bob Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
