Other information extracted from obituaries and a number of alternative sources. Discrepancy between birthplace being Bath, Knott County, Kentucky or Bath County, Kentucky. There is a possibility there were two Marias (Maria Stone and Maria Day) who married Jesse Kring(s) (be it two different Jesse Krings or both marrying the same Jesse Kring - seen enough cases where a widow/widower married somebody with the same name as their dear departed, including cases where they married somebody with the same first and maiden name). Another separate possibility is some sources are showing Bath and it's Bath County, not the town of Bath or showing Bath and record didn't clarify if it's Bath, Kentucky or Bath County, Kentucky. I am keeping the conflicting information on her memorial so people can make up their own minds if they think this is or is not the Maria Kring they are looking for. Hopefully at some point in the future, enough proof will surface to rule in or out which Maria Kring is buried next to Jesse. As additional information is provided by others, or discovered by me, I will update the bio. However, I will still keep the conflicting information and put it at the bottom. I will also explain why I believe the new proof supports or doesn't support Maria being Maria Stone, Maria Day, or some other Maria who hasn't been put forth as a candidate yet.
She was 84. Maiden name listed as Stone in some records and Day in other records. Birth date from 1900 federal census. Other records have 1848 for birth year.
