Mr. James H. "Jim" Abbott, 59, of Memphis, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016, at his home.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Mr. Abbott was born December 2, 1957, in Union City, son of the late James H. and Jane Abbott.

Jim was known for his fast cars, motorcycles and boats. He loved traveling and living in Houston.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Melinda and Tom Endicott of Carmel, Indiana; his brother and sister-in-law, Jody and Amy Abbott of Eads; and two neices and two nephews, Sara Endicott of Denver, Colorado, Alaina Abbott of Eads, Adam Endicott of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Alex Abbott of Eads.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be sent to the Huntington's Disease Society (hdsa.org) or Huntington's Disease Society of America, 505 Eighth Avenue, Suite 902, New York, New York 10018.
