Peggy A. Bruner, 68, of New Boston, Illinois died Sunday, January 24, 2016 at home.
Peggy was born August 22, 1947 in Muscatine, Iowa a daughter of Henry and Vivian (McCoy) Harmon. She graduated from Westmer High School and later went on to nursing school, graduating as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She loved working with geriatric patients and retired from All American Care, Muscatine, at the age of 62. She married Bill Bruner on December 23, 1991 in Aledo. She was a member of the former Aledo Nazarene Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed to crochet, read, play games, sing and dance.
Peggy was a loving wife, mother, step-mother and grandmother. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband two daughters and sons-in-law, three step-daughters, six grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; one sister, two brothers & a sister-in law, plus many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and great grandson, Nathan Robertson.
