Jacob Mark Tew, 16 of Frederick, Maryland passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016 at his home.
Born on August 16, 1999 in San Angelo, TX, he was the son of Mark and Gina Tew of Frederick.
Jacob was a kind and loving son; naturally talented; and had a love for IT and computers. He had a funny sense of humor and was always ready to help out when needed. He enjoyed playing his Xbox and most recently started hunting where he had just harvested his first deer.
In addition to his loving parents, Mark and Gina, he is survived by his older brother, Joshua Tew, sister, Shannon Tew, paternal grandparents, Harvey Tew and wife Jane,*Charles Balts; maternal grandmother, Paz Gutierrez, maternal grandfather, Roberto Lumba and wife Tess, uncles, Michael Tew and wife Lan, Gerry Lumba and wife Liz, Gene Gutierrez and partner Arlette, aunts, Elizabeth "Beth" Folchetti and husband Robert, Judith Murphy and husband Billy; *Jacqueline Skewes, cousins, Timothy, Kenneth, Andrew, Elijah, Matthew, Jennifer, Brian, Isaiah, Mia and AJ.
He is preceded in death by a paternal grandmother, Rebecca Balts, maternal grandfather, Jose Gutierrez and an Uncle Renato Lumba.
Funeral services will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Thursday February 4th at 2:00pm where the family will be present to receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm. Pastor Francis VanDelden will officiate.
Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
