ARVIN BARTLETT, 83 of Pasadena, Texas passed away on September 13, 2006. Arvin was born on August 26, 1923 in Birmingham, Alabama to Otho and Eula Smith Bartlett. He was preceded death by his parents and wife, Sallie; Arvin is survived by his loving wife of 2 years, Juanita Bartlett. Arvin also leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving family, Daughter, Shelia Newson; Son, Arvin Bartlett, Jr.; 16 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Step-daughters, Deborah DeViney and Angela Riggs; Step-son, Charles DeViney; along with a host of other loving family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 16, 2006 from 5-8 P.M. at Grand View Funeral Home. A funeral service celebrating his life will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at 3:00 P.M. in The Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home with interment following in Grand View Memorial Park.
