DUMAS - Agnes Irene Sewell, 88, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000, in Dallas.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Morrison Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.

Mrs. Sewell was born in Claude. She lived in Pampa, moving to Dumas in 1937, and then to Dallas several years ago. She was a retired registered nurse and alumni of St. Vincent De Paul School of Nursing. She was an honorary nurse member of the American Red Cross.

She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, 1932 Study Club and First Baptist Church in Dumas.

She married Alton Edward Sewell in 1936 at Pampa. He died in 1990.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Irene Lewis of Garland; a son, Edward Lee Sewell of Dallas; five grandsons and three great-grandchildren.

The body will be available for viewing from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at Morrison Funeral Directors.
