She was a native and life-long resident of Lake Charles. She was a 1970 Graduate of Lagrange High School, a home maker and of the catholic faith. Gairey always kept an immaculate house that was tastefully decorated by the season.
Gairey was a true inspiration to her friends and family. She waged a courageous battle that lasted exactly one year from her diagnosis with cirrhosis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Murphy and JoAnn LeBleu Guidry.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday January 30, 2016 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Harold Nixon officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday January 29, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation continues on Saturday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Gardens.
