Robert obtained his bachelor's degree in Piano at OCU, then studied with Soulima Stravinsky at University of Illinois for his Master's degree. He then returned to OCU and remained there for 56 years until his retirement in 2005.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.
He is survived by 1 nephew and 3 nieces.
