His death occurred during his Freshman Year 1975/76, Charlie was 14 years old. On a Wednesday morning, Dec. 3, 1975 at 8:30 A.M. Charlie was discovered hanging from a tree by a rope at 1528 S.W. 144th Pl, Burien, WA. King County police were quoted to say that "his death appeared to be accidental."

Beloved son of Edmund Lawrence Ryder and Katherine Ellen Wyllys Ryder. This couple were joined in marriage on the 30th of August 1958, Seattle, King Co., WA.

Brother of Michael, John, Sandra, and Theresa. Grandson (mothers side) of Mrs. Jenny Cerny.

On the morning of his death, the Students at Seahurst were notified in class of Charlie's death.

Funeral Services were held Tues. Dec. 9, 1975 at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home. Burial service proceeded in the Washington Memorial Park.
