Bill R. Bigbee, 80, passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016. He was born Sept. 29, 1935, in Joplin, Mo., where he grew up and attended Joplin High School.
Bill married Arletta (Barr) Feb. 18, 1955, in Miami, Okla. She survives of the home.
He worked at Schreiber Foods, in Carthage, Mo., for 21 years.
Bill is survived by one daughter Bettina Edwards (Larry), four grandchildren, seven greatgrandchildren, one greatgreat-grandson, two nieces, two nephews and two sisters-in-law. He is preceded in death by his son Jeffrey Dale Bigbee.
Memorial services will be Thursday 4 p.m. at Fairview Christian Church, in Carthage.
