Grace Walter
Long-time Fort Bragg visitor Grace Clarke Kelly Walter died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002 in Williams, Calif. She was born in Yolo County in 1912 to Foster Noble and Mattie Belle Clarke, and was the youngest of the three children. She was married to Harry Callahan Kelly and has two daughters. Her second marriage was to William Walter.
She loved her many friends in Fort Bragg.
Her favorite charities were the College City Cemetery Support Group, The Sacramento Valley Museum and the Williams and Arbuckle Fire Departments.
She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Ornbaun and Bev Cox, seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchilden, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the College City Cemetery, Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002 at 11 a.m. with a reception following at the Arbuckle Fire Hall.
