Elaine A. Waack, age 84, of 6409 Gass Lake Road, rural Manitowoc, died early Thursday morning, January 28, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. The former Elaine Stock was born on March 20, 1931 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Alvin and Elda (Boldt) Stock. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated with the class of 1949 from Lincoln High School. Elaine also graduated from the School of Beauty in Green Bay. On December 28, 1957 she was married to Robert E. Waack at Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church. She was a member of Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church. Elaine enjoyed quilting, sewing, knitting, gardening and canning. Survivors include her husband: Robert E. Waack, rural Manitowoc; their ten children: Mark Waack, Manitowoc and his special friend; Cindy Beuchel; Susan Waack, Sheboygan; Michael (Terri) Waack, Newton; Mitchell (Kristin) Waack, Manitowoc; Manuel (Vicki) Waack, Newton; Shirley Waack, Green Bay; Sharlene Behm, Gibbsville and special friend: Cory Weber; Sheila (Kevin) Leider, Valders; Martin (Mary Jo) Waack, Manitowoc; Shelly (John) Bichler, Sheboygan; sixteen grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one on the way; one sister and brother-in-law: Myra (Russell) Albert, Cleveland; one brother-in-law and five sisters-in-law: Paul (Dorris) Waack, Manitowoc; Janet Grunewald, Manitowoc; Marion Thiel, Manitowoc; Doris Zabler, Manitowoc; Delores Waack, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Alvin and Elda Stock; two brothers: Robert Stock; Raymond Stock; one sister: Irene Maala; three sisters-in-law: Laverne Stock; Margene Stock; Joyce Stock; four brothers-in-law: John Maala; Donald Waack; Hubert Grunewald; Donald Thiel.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church, 6524 County Trunk C, Newton. Rev. Kyle Sorensen will officiate with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
