DIMMITT - Funeral services for Pearley M. Adams, 87, of Dimmitt, were to be at 3:30 p.m. today in the Church of Christ here. R.E. Parker, minister, was to officiate. Burial was to be in Castro Memorial Gardens by Gilliland Funeral Home of Hereford. Mr. Adams died Friday night in Plains Memorial Hospital. Born in Cherokee County, N. C., he came to Castro County in 1938 from Hall County. He was a farmer and a member of the Church of Christ. His wife, Eula, died in 1967. Survivors include five sons, J.J. of Monte Vista, Colo., R.C. of Dimmitt, J.L. of Stratford, Jerry of Canyon and Claude at Norfolk, Na.; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Bryan of Gentry, Ark., Mrs. Jean Kasher of Aniak, Alaska, and Mrs. Virgie Moulton of Dimmitt; one sister, Mrs. Beulah Copelin of Gridley, Calif.; 28 grandchildren and 60 great-grandchildren.
