Jack E. "Smiley" Keithline of Main Street, Lebanon, died Thursday (June 8, 1978) in Veterans Administration Hospital, Lyons. He was 57.
He was the owner and operator of Smiley's Restaurant, Clinton for 15 years. Born in Hazelton, Pa., he had lived in Roselle and Warren before moving to Lebanon 23 years before he died.
He was a World War II Army-Air Force veteran.
Surviving are his wife, the former Helen Sands; his mother, Mrs. Louise Smiles of Tunkhannock, Pa.; a son, three daughters, a brother Edwin Smiles of Herndon, Va. and four grandchildren.
