Robert E. Bailey, 90, of Hayden Pond Road, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, in his home after a long illness.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Mary A. (Bouret) Bailey of Dudley; two children; a brother; a sister; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by a son, Robert Bailey; two brothers, Alexander Bailey and George Bailey; and a sister, Margaret Bailey.
He was born in Allston, the son of the late George and Ellen (Monroe) Bailey, and lived in Cambridge and Millbury before moving to Dudley in 1969. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Mr. Bailey worked at Heald Machine Company in Worcester for 30 years, retiring in 1984. He enjoyed stamp collecting, listening to music, working in his yard, and spending time with his family.

Burial at All Faiths Cemetery in Worcester.
