Bluefield Icon. When Rhea's husband, legendary pharmacist Bob Duvall, moved to Bluefield to run Southside Professional Pharmacy Rhea was by his side. In Bluefield, she raised her family and was active in Westminster Presbyterian Church. In 1984, the Women of the Church awarded her an Honorary Life Membership, then after the family moved to First Presbyterian, she worked as a Ministerial Assistant and was eventually bestowed a second Honorary Life Membership. Following Bob's death, she remained in Bluefield until moving to Chapel Hill two years prior to her demise.
