Inez grew up on the family farm. She married Philip Carpenter in 1943. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Inez was also an avid bridge player and square dancer. She was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: daughters: Marva (Loris) Boatman, Mary (Tom) Stone; sons, Donald, David (Diane) and Douglas (Cindy) Carpenter; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, LaVere Brinkman and Irene Rachow; many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: husband, Philip; parents; and brothers, Glen and Virgil Kring.
