Services for Randall Mark 'Fat Rabbit' Abbott, 59, Winona, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 4, at Omen First Baptist Church, in the Omen community with Reverends Scotty Short and Jack Guthrie officiating. Burial will follow in Mason Cemetery, Arp. Arrangements are under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
Mr. Abbott passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 in a Tyler hospital.
He was born May 14, 1956 in Kilgore to the late Charles and Dorothy Trull Abbott.
He is a veteran of the US Navy and worked as a roughneck in the Oilfield.
Besides his parents, Mr. Abbott was also preceded in death by a sister, Charlene Rogers and a brother, William Travis Abbott.
Survivors include three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Richard and Alisa Gay Abbott, Gladewater, Charles Abbott, Longview, and Edward and Kimberly Abbott, Hallsville; a sister and brother-in-law, Pamela Gale Abbott Myers, Hallsville; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The family visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, Thursday, February 4, at Omen First Baptist Church, prior to the service.
