Mr. Abbott passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 in a Tyler hospital.
He was born May 14, 1956 in Kilgore to the late Charles and Dorothy Trull Abbott.
He is a veteran of the US Navy and worked as a roughneck in the Oilfield.
Besides his parents, Mr. Abbott was also preceded in death by a sister, Charlene Rogers and a brother, William Travis Abbott.
Survivors include three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Richard and Alisa Gay Abbott, Gladewater, Charles Abbott, Longview, and Edward and Kimberly Abbott, Hallsville; a sister and brother-in-law, Pamela Gale Abbott Myers, Hallsville; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The family visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, Thursday, February 4, at Omen First Baptist Church, prior to the service.
