Sarrah M. Wagy was born to Abraham Wagy (Waggy/Waggie/Wege) and Louisa Cooper outside of Waverly, Ohio in Pike County. She married William F. Mills and the newlyweds moved with her parents and siblings to the Gladstone/Olena area of Henderson County of Illinois. William died soon after the birth of their second child, Mary, in 1847. Sarrah remarried an older gentleman, John Evans, having at least 2 more children, Commodore and Elizabeth. I am descended from her oldest child, Abraham Benjamin Mills, who grew up with his grandfather, Abraham Wagy.
