Alois F. Komoroski, age 93, a resident of Atrium Post Acute Care of Two Rivers, formerly of 1009 26th St., died Friday night, January 29, 2016, at the Acute Care Center. Alois was born June 13, 1922, in Two Rivers, to the late Leo and Martha (Brefczynski) Komorowski. He attended a Country School and at an early age began working on his parents farm. On April 14, 1951, he married Ethel Houska at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers. She preceded him in death on September 7, 1997. Alois was employed in the wood plant at Hamilton Mfg. Co. for over 40 years, until his retirement. Over the years, he enjoyed watching his sons play softball; he also enjoyed fishing, woodworking, playing cards, playing dice, and gardening. Survivors include his two sons and daughters-in-law: Michael and Donna Komoroski and Ronald and Lynn Komoroski, all of Two Rivers; five grandchildren: Kelly (Jim) Kakuk, Adam (Nicole) Komoroski, Nicholas Komoroski and special friend, Jennifer; Christina Komoroski and Amanda Komoroski; and three great grandchildren: Brasen, Parker and Axton. He is further survived by two sisters: Sophie Peroutka, Manitowoc and Eleanor Kozaczuk, Two Rivers; a sister-in-law: Carol Komorowski, Two Rivers; along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was also preceded in death by a grandson, Kevin Komoroski; two brothers: Leonard Komorowski and Arthur (Mert) Komorowski; one sister: Mary (Joe) Kellner; and two brothers-in-law: Edwin Peroutka and Leo Kozaczuk.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2016, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Maurice Mmegbuadimma, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
