Kathleen M. Baker, 68, was born on February 27, 1947 in Fort Collins to Hubert V. and Mardel M. (Shearer) Polt. She moved to Longmont at age 2 and graduated from Longmont High School.
On February 19, 1966, Kathy married Donald O. Baker in Boulder, CO. They lived in Longmont moving to Idaho in 1974. They returned to Longmont in 1977 and moved to Fort Collins in 1980.
Kathy was a loan officer at the Hewlet-Packard credit union from 1979-2000.
She was raised in the Catholic Church. Kathy is remembered as a loving Mother and Grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and watching cooking shows on TV.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Kathy is survived by her husband, son, daughter, and two grandsons, all of Fort Collins. She is also survived by three sisters, one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00pm Saturday February 6, 2016 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, 326 Terry St., Longmont with the family present to greet friends. Funeral services will be at 1:30pm Monday, February 8, 2016 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Interment at Foothills Gardens of Memory in Longmont.
