Graveside services for Billy Glen Day will be on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 2 PM at Easthaven Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Bro. Bendon Ginn will be officiating the services while Brookhaven Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Day, 72, passed from this life on February 4, 2016, at Tangi Pines Nursing Center in Amite, LA. He was born November 24, 1943 in Brookhaven, MS, to Glen and Julia Maxine Alexander Day. He was of the Baptist faith and a deacon of Easthaven Baptist Church in Brookhaven, MS. He was a retired lineman from Entergy. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a loving son, father, grandfather and friend.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Glen and Julia Maxine Alexander Day.
Survivors are his son, Randy Day of Brookhaven, MS; daughter, Cindy Day Alexander and husband Greg of Metairie, LA; aunt, Elsie Lane of Vidalia, LA; cousins, Mike Lane of Vidalia, LA, and Rick Lane of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Jordan and Sarah Alexander; and a host of family and friends.
