He was of the Baptist faith and a deacon of Easthaven Baptist Church in Brookhaven, MS. He was a retired lineman from Entergy. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a loving son, father, grandfather and friend.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Glen and Julia Maxine Alexander Day.
Survivors are his son, Randy Day of Brookhaven, MS; daughter, Cindy Day Alexander and husband Greg of Metairie, LA; aunt, Elsie Lane of Vidalia, LA; cousins, Mike Lane of Vidalia, LA, and Rick Lane of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Jordan and Sarah Alexander; and a host of family and friends.
