Burial in this cemetery not confirmed. The 11/19/1875 issue of the State Journal says Judge Hamilton died at his farm near Jefferson City and was buried in the "neighborhood burying grounds." That may suggest a smaller, local cemetery.

The State Journal, Jefferson City, Mo. reported on 6/19/1875 that Judge Hamilton's (adopted) daughter, Lizzie S Hamilton, married Capt. B. F. Stewart, a clerk in the State Auditor's Office.

Sons Henry and William are reported to have died in Calif.
