Visitation will be at the Jackson Apostolic Tabernacle (Highway 10, Jackson, LA) on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 5pm until 9pm and then on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 9am until funeral services at 11am, conducted by Rev. Chad Mills. There will be a 2pm graveside service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 106 Morgantown Road, Natchez, MS.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mary Knight; one daughter, Deana Knight Laurich of Magnolia, MS; one son, William George Knight, Jr. of Magnolia, MS; two step-daughters Carrie Vanwinkle of Woodbury, TN; Crystal Williams of Magnolia, MS; four sisters, Linda Bennett of McKinney, TX; Diane Duncan of Norwood, LA; Vickie Temple and William "Duke" Temple of Wakefield, LA; Lorraine Knight of Jackson, LA; sister-in-law Jeannette Knight of St. Francisville; sister-in-law Kathleen Knight; two brothers: Richard Knight and wife Silva Knight of Lockport, LA; Charles Knight of Jackson, LA; grandchildren Tyler Laurich, Justin Laurich, Simon Laurich, Zachary Laurich; step-grandchildren: Matthew Vanwinkle, Alex Vanwinkle, Calvin Williams, Trenton Williams, and Colton Williams; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Knight, mother, Ella Knight, brother, Baby Knight, brother, Plummer Knight, brother, Marl Knight, and four grandparents.
Pallbearers will be Jack Bennett, Ashley Horne, William "Duke" Temple, Michael Evans, Mark Knight, Ronnie Pierce, Paul Currier and Plummer Knight Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Willie Duncan, Fred Smith, and Scott Sagley.
He enjoyed fishing and driving his truck.
