Lorena Pearl Eastwood passed away February 3, 2016 at the age of 97. Born July 26, 1918 in Rising Star, Texas to Ennis and Ethel Tharp. She moved to Aransas Pass at a young age where she met the love of her life, James Franklin Eastwood. They were married August 9, 1938 at the old Courthouse in Corpus Christi where they made their home. Lorena was a devoted homemaker and loving mother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ennis and Ethel Tharp; husband of 70 years, James Franklin Eastwood; sister, Eulala Peters and brothers, Lawton, Farrell, David and Louie Tharp. Lorena is survived by her sons, James Eastwood and Waukeen (late Madelaine) Eastwood; daughters, Mona (Larry) Thomas and Elizabeth (Glenn “Skip”) Bills; sister, Ramona Dudas; sister-in-law, Dolly Fancher; daughter-in-law, Kitty Benick; Ten Grandchildren, Seventeen Great Grandchildren; Five Great-Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, others relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 8, 2016 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors with interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
