M A R S H F I E L D Anton "Buck" Adler, 71, Marshfield, died at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday following a nine-foot fall from a balcony while working at the Central State Supply Corp. An autopsy is being conducted today to determine the cause of death.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with the Rev. Walter Dillenburg officiating. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Mr. Adler was born Dec. 7, 1899, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Adler, Marshfield. He married Kathryn Schuster at Bakerville June 15, 1925, and she died in September 1958. His second marriage was to Mrs. Juanita Croft Oct. 24, 1959. He was employed for 39 years with the Marshfield Electric and Water Department until retiring in 1964. He served for many years as electrical inspector for the city of Marshfield and was also chief ranger of the Catholic Order of Foresters for several years.
Survivors include his wife, five sons and five daughters, including Mrs. Dale Tremmel, Wisconsin Rapids; three sisters, including Mrs. Raymond Wood, W i s c o n s i n Rapids; brothers, and 35 grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Rembs Funeral Home from 2 p.m. Friday until the time of services. The Knights of Columbus will hold a rosary 7:30 p.m. Friday followed by a general rosary at 8:15 p.m.
