Funeral services for Adelaida Sanchez, 53, of Rosenberg, were held Tuesday morning at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Rosenberg. Burial was at Guadalupe Cemetery in Rosenberg.
Sanchez died early Sunday morning at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital in Richmond after a sudden illness.
She is survived by her husband, Pedro Sanchez of Rosenberg; two sons, Juan Sanchez of East Bernard and Pedro Sanchez Jr. of Rosenberg; 11 daughters, Connie Barrera, Carolina Martinez, Margie Sanchez, Graciela Sanchez, Josie Bentancur, Martha Calderon, Susana Sanchez, Norma Jean Sanchez, all of Rosenberg, Maria Chavez of Fulshear, Elena Gomez of Forth Worth, and Nora Sanchez of Houston; three brothers, Ramon, Alejandro, and Roberto Anzaldua, all of Rosenberg; three sisters, Rosa and Maria Montalvo of El Campo, and Jesusa Garibay of Fulshear; 27 grandchildren; and other relatives.
