Ivy Willis Walker age 82 passed away Saturday September 3, 2011 at Hospice House of Forest City. A native of Rutherford County he was the son of the late I. Walter Walker and Lula Greene Culbertson Walker.
Mr. Walker was a member of Spencer Baptist Church, a retired computer systems analyst for the State of North Carolina and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during the Korean War.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Faye Walz Walker of the home; one son Kurt Ronald Walker of Charlotte, NC; two sisters Maggie Thomas of Anderson, SC and Geneva Roberson of Forest City, NC.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 2 – 4 PM Wednesday September 7, 2011 at Mr. Walker's home.
