PALM HARBOR, Fla. Hazel L. (Bolick) Mansulla, 83, formerly of Brockton, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, at Balmoral Assisted Living Facility in Palm Harbor. She was the wife of the late Andrew J. Mansulla. Born Sept. 7, 1924, in Kannapolis, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Harrison Bolick and Florida (Anderson) Bolick. Hazel attended schools in Mount Ulla, N.C. After moving to Brockton, Hazel opened a hairdressing salon. In 1951, she became the wife of Andrew J. Mansulla of the Mansulla Brothers Oil Company. They resided in Brockton until 1994, when Andrew passed away and Hazel then moved to Clearwater. Hazel resided at Arden Courts Alzheimers Unit and Balmoral Assisted Living Facility for the past several years, while battling a lengthy illness. Hazel is survived by her daughter, Judith OConnor-Thompson and her husband John H. Thompson of Palm Harbor, also formerly of Brockton; her beloved grandchildren, M. Jonathan OConnor and his wife Kristi and Kathleen OConnor, all of Florida; her great-grandchildren, Kelsie, Brandon and Shane OConnor, all of Florida; her brothers, Ray Bolick of N.C., and Reid Bolick of Georgia. She was the sister of the late Alene Bolick and John Bolick. Following cremation, a graveside service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Arrangements by the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton.
