She died Sunday Sept. 1 near midnight, at her residence Carling St. Exeter. She was
highly respected in the town and had a quiet kindly manner. She had lived in Exeter
for 26 years. Her maiden name was Easterbrook and she married twice, first being Mr.
Anning and her second marriage was to Mr. Stancombe. Both predeceased her. She was a faithful member of the main st. Methodist church in which the funeral was held Tuesday with interment in the Exeter cemetery.
