Mary V. Ritzman, 84, of Sandwich, IL passed away, Sunday, September 17, 2006 in Valley West Community Hospital in Sandwich. She was born November 30, 1921 in Motherwell, Scotland the daughter of James and Catherine (Reynolds) Carduff. She married Henry George Ritzman on May 4, 1939 in Chicago, IL. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sandwich.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Duane) Herren of Earlville, IL, and Mary (Jock) Kubica of Sandwich, IL; two sons, James (Margaret) Ritzman of O'Brien, FL, and Henry (Debra) Ritzman of Plano, IL; sixteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters; Alice Kolet of Hoffman Estates, IL and Catherine (Raymond) Glas of Norridge, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in dearth by her parents; her husband; two children, Carol Wennmacher and John Ritzman; two brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 21, 2006 at Burkhart Funeral Home in Sandwich, IL with Father Donald D. DeSalvo officiating. Burial will follow in Wyoming Cemetery, Paw Paw, Illinois. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 20, 2006 in the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
